Dec. 21st, 6 p.m. - Dayton Valley Community Church Christmas Pagent - "A Christmas to Believe In"

Experience the wonder of the Nativity with our special production of "A Christmas to Believe In." This unique play weaves the traditional biblical account with the journey of a modern-day skeptic who is unsure if the story is true. As the events of the first Christmas unfold on stage—from the angel Gabriel's announcement to Mary to the baby Jesus lying in the manger—our doubting narrator becomes increasingly engaged. Ultimately, he finds he can believe in the powerful message of God's love and the Savior's birth. This engaging performance is suitable for all ages and includes beloved Christmas songs to celebrate the joy of the season.

    What is Alabaster?

The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around the world. While we understand the church consists of the people of God and not a building, buildings erected for the purpose of ministry help provide a sense of permanence, functionally enhance ministry efforts, and convey an attitude that the Church of the Nazarene intends to "put down roots."

    NMI

Nazarene Missions International (NMI) is the organization for mobilizing the local church in missions in the Church of the Nazarene and the denomination’s representative for missions on the district and in the local church.

HOPE AND CONNECTION—IN PRISON AND OUT

Incarceration can strain family ties to the breaking point. By providing Christmas gifts on behalf of incarcerated parents, sending kids to summer camp, hosting sports camps, STEM events, and other activities, Prison Fellowship Angel Tree® equips churches to strengthen relationships between incarcerated parents and their children and support the families of those behind bars year-round.

In addition, Angel Tree invites and equips congregations to integrate Angel Tree families into church activities year-round, resulting in mutually beneficial relationships that foster growth, support, and encouragement.
